My husband and were on our “baby moon” as well as visiting family in San Jose and San Carlos. We heard about Olguita’s Place through a good friend of Grandma’s. It gave us comfort to know we’d being staying with family of friends. Upon arriving we realized just how eminent the peace of this place really was, the excitement of exploring the ocean, the sounds of the crashing waves, and experience of having the jungle surround us. We have visited many great Airbnb places, like 40 or so, in many countries. But Olguita’s place topped them all, no doubt! Location is superb, a green paradise with abundant birds, including green macaws and several species of hummingbirds. The beach is superb, if one wishes, one can walk some 5 extra minutes (towards the right from the house) to find a secluded space, kind of playa privado. The house is cosy and has everything that one needs. But the greatest part is Isis, Reynaldo and their beautiful daughter, filling everyone and everything with love. Ils nous ont fait goûter des fruits et herbes qui poussent sur la propriété, un petit paradis! Ils étaient toujours faciles à rejoindre au besoin. Notre fille s’est nouée d’amitié avec leur fille et nous avons passé de beaux moments ensemble. Le terrain donne directement sur la plage. La cabane est très propre et confortable mais rustique. Tolle Unterkunft an einem Traumstrand. Das Haus besteht aus zwei Etagen, die über eine Außentreppe miteinander verbunden sind. In der unteren Etage gibt es zwei Doppelbetten und eine Klimaanlage. In der oberen Etage gibt es ein weiteres Bett, aber nur einen Ventilator. Dafür hat die obere Etage einen großen Balkon. Die Bäder und die Küche sind einfach, aber ausreichend. Das Grundstück ist ein wenig ablegen, aber dafür an einem Traumstrand. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Sören
Wir hatten 4 wunderbare Tage bei Reynaldo und seiner Familie. Das Gelände ist grossartig und sehr spannend. Viele Obstbäume, Vögel und Kleintiere sind zu beobachten und wir durften viel lernen. Der Strand ist einmal über die Strasse und wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Traumhaft! Es gibt auch 2 kleine Restaurants, die zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Das gelbe Haus liegt schön und bietet alles was es braucht. Es ist einfach ausgestattet, aber nützlich. Hier findest du Ruhe 🙂 Das Internet funktioniert nur draussen, aber bei jedem Gang in den Garten entdeckst du neues und wenn du Glück hast, siehst du Reynaldo und seine Familie. Sie sind sehr freundlich, extrem hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Für eine Familie mit Kindern ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Unsere Kinder waren gerne da und haben die Zeit mit Reynaldos Tochter sehr genossen. Danke für alles, wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder! Yasmine
